The Tri-Dog Solutions Story

Hi, I'm Alyssa, the founder & lead trainer of Tri-Dog Solutions!
My journey to founding TDS has had a myriad of animal-centric experiences that started in childhood and have spanned decades - including working with upwards of 2000+ dogs and their families! It all started with helping train my families' standard poodles as a teenager, continued into college where I graduated with a B.S. in Agricultural Education from the University of Delaware. Then continued into teaching animal sciences at W.B. Saul Agricultural High School in Philadelphia, while completing certifications in multiple equine therapy modalities. During this time, I also fostered (and trained) dozens of dogs for local rescue organizations and visited local hospitals with my personal dog, who was certified as a Therapy Dog. At this point, I started to seriously pursue dog training as a professional career by going on to shadow and work for 6.5 years with Opportunity Barks Dog Training Facility - this path (eventually) culminated in the creation of Tri-Dog Solutions and our specialized programs aimed at Calming the Chaos for as many dogs and their families as possible.
I consider myself a lifelong learner and am continually studying the art and science of dogs, training and learning as a whole. This curiosity has led me to completing continuing education clinics & courses with well respected dog trainers including: Jay Jack, Maryna Ozuna, Brenda Aloff, Nino Drowaert, Mark & Stephanie McCabe and Jon Czinder.
Every step in this journey has taught me something invaluable that I bring to my clients in a variety of ways. I have the background, training, and passion to customize my approach to best help each dog and their human, no matter what kind of learner they are. With a kind, fair, honest and empathetic approach to all of the families we work with, we aim to keep training inclusive, simple, fun and effective.
When not working with clients, you can find me competing in several dog sports with my own dogs; Wally and Noni, reading a good book, hanging at a farmers market or out trail riding with my Mustang Cloud.
I am so excited to help others calm the chaos, and truly understand their dogs. I hope to meet you and your pup soon.
Alyssa

Dani Cooper
Dani joined TDS in December of 2025, but she’s been training alongside Alyssa and Dana since 2021, and has been part of the Tri-Dog family long before it was official.
She grew up with her family's boxers and earned her BS in Zoo Science from Delaware Valley University, turning her lifelong love of animals into a career.
Dani has worked in local zoos training and caring for animals ranging from sheep and goats to jaguars, otters, porcupines, owls, and just about everything in between; which means reading behavior, building trust, and meeting each animal where they are is truly second nature to her.
Dani brings a steady, calm energy to every session that helps both dogs and their humans feel comfortable and confident.
Her coaching style is approachable, easy to follow, and always supportive! She’ll guide you through challenges in a way that feels clear and doable.
She is leading our Hiking Hounds program and can’t wait to hit the trails with your dog, blending enrichment, adventure, and thoughtful training into one very happy, very tired dog experience.
Dani's Achievements include:
- Jay Jack & Next Level Dogs, Play as the Way Clinic
- The Engaged Dog Course, Brenda Aloff
- Bachelor of Science in Zoo Sciences
