Puppy Training Programs

Training a puppy isn’t just about obedience, it’s about giving their growing brain the tools it needs for life-long success. Early development is a critical window for shaping your pup’s confidence, communication, and behavior, and the way we train during these first few months sets the tone for the rest of their life.

That’s why we’ve designed puppy-specific programs for dogs under 6 months old (at the time of enrollment); thoughtful, age-appropriate training that supports healthy development and real-life readiness lasting into their adult dog life.

You’ll have access to a range of options:

  • In-home lessons tailored to the whole family

  • Day School Training & Socialization programs

  • Stay & Train Overnight programs for immersive learning and progress

  • Hybrid programs that combine options to maximize success

Whether you're looking for a comprehensive program or just a few targeted sessions, our puppy training is designed to grow with your goals, and your dog 😉.

What age should I start training my puppy?

You can start from the day your puppy comes home.

That doesn’t mean drilling obedience with an eight-week-old puppy, they're just a baby. Early training is much more about helping them learn how life works: where to potty, how to settle, how to be comfortable in a crate, what’s appropriate to chew, how to interact with people and dogs, and how to communicate with you.

The goal isn’t a “perfect” puppy. It’s building good patterns early so you have a strong foundation to grow from for the rest of your pups life.

What can puppy training help with?

Puppies are adorable, they are also tiny chaos goblins.

We commonly help families with house training, puppy biting and nipping, crate training, chewing, jumping, barking, leash walking, recall, greeting manners, settling, confidence, socialization and learning how to live politely in a human household. We like to call it "calming the chaos," we also teach obedience skills like sit, down, come, stay, and more.

Just as importantly, we help you understand what your puppy needs and how to communicate clearly with them. Because it doesn’t matter what your trainer can do with your puppy if those skills don’t translate back into everyday life with you.

What does proper puppy socialization actually look like?

Socialization is a lot more than letting your puppy play with other dogs.

Good socialization means helping your puppy learn that the world is safe and manageable. That can include new people, dogs, surfaces, noises, environments, handling, car rides, grooming, vet visits and everyday distractions.

We also put a lot of emphasis on building neutrality. Your puppy does not need to greet every dog or person they see. In fact, learning how to calmly exist around exciting things can be just as important as learning how to interact with them.

Our goal is to build confidence without teaching your puppy that the entire world is one giant invitation to party.

Do you offer in-home puppy training in Conshohocken and Montgomery County?

Yes. We offer private in-home puppy training in Conshohocken and throughout many surrounding Montgomery County communities, including Plymouth Meeting, Lafayette Hill, King of Prussia, Blue Bell, Collegeville and nearby areas.

Working in your home gives us the chance to help with the things that are actually making your day harder, whether that’s house training, crate struggles, puppy biting, barking, jumping on the kids or figuring out how to get through your neighborhood without being dragged by a tiny land shark.

We also offer Day School and Stay & Train Program options for families who want additional hands-on support from our trainers. These programs also include lessons with you in your home to help transfer skills to where they matter most.

How much does puppy training cost?

Puppy training doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing commitment.

Some families just need a private lesson or two to get pointed in the right direction. Others want more hands-on support through Day School, a puppy training package or Stay & Train Program.

Our puppy training options start with individual private lessons and build from there depending on your goals, your puppy and how much support makes sense for your family and schedule.

We keep our pricing transparent because we want you to be able to make an informed decision before reaching out. You can view the current program options and pricing above, and if you’re unsure which one fits, we’re happy to help you sort through it.

You're always welcome to set up a phone call to discuss our programs
