The Tri-Dog Solutions Story
Hi, I'm Alyssa, the founder & lead trainer of Tri-Dog Solutions!
My journey to founding TDS has had a myriad of animal-centric experiences that started in childhood and have spanned decades - with upwards of working with 1500+ dogs & their humans. It started with helping train my families' standard poodles as a teenager, to graduating with a B.S. in Agricultural Education from the University of Delaware. Then going on to teaching animal sciences at W.B. Saul Agricultural High School in Philadelphia, to completing certifications in multiple equine therapy modalities. While also fostering (and training) dozens of dogs for local rescue organizations and getting my personal dog certified as a therapy dog and volunteering at local hospitals together. Then going on to work as a professional dog trainer for 6+ years with Opportunity Barks - this path has culminated in the creation of Tri-Dog Solutions and specialized programs aimed at bringing harmony back to as many dogs and their families as possible.
I consider myself a life long learner and am continually studying the art and science of dogs, training and learning. This curiosity has led me to completing continuing education clinics & courses with well respected dog trainers including: Jay Jack, Maryna Ozuna, Brenda Aloff, Nino Drowaert and Jon Czinder.

Every step in this journey has taught me something valuable that I bring to my clients in a variety of ways. I have the background, training, and passion to help dogs and their humans, whether it's how to see your dog in a different light, explaining a complicated behavior in easy to understand terms, changing tactics or modalities to better address a specific behavior, creating a clear training plan that builds lesson to lesson or simply listening & validating where both you and your dog are struggling.

When not working with clients, you can find me competing in several dog sports with my own dogs, Wally and Noni or out trail riding with my Mustang Cloud.

I am so excited to help others calm the chaos, truly understand and find harmony with their dogs and hope to meet you and your pup soon!
